Ever wondered where chocolate comes from or how it is made? Have you ever wondered what is the deal with “bean to bar” chocolate or why “70%” chocolate is so popular? Wonder no more.

Donors joined us Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. for a Chocolate Tasting Experience hosted by Mark Svejda, The Chocolate Savant.

Location: The event was held at Hundred Mile Brewing Company, 690 North Scottsdale Road, Tempe, Arizona 85281.The experience included a buffet dinner (included in the ticket price) and a full cash bar during the experience.

The experience involved tasting 5 different bean to bar chocolates made from cacao beans grown in different parts of the world. Different flavor profiles of each of the 5 different chocolates were presented. Chocolate, like wine, had a different flavor profile based on where the cacao beans are grown. This was a one-hour interactive tasting experience you do not want to miss!

Mark travels the world to find the best chocolate and the most amazing chocolate experiences (like the chocolate shop in Belgium where you can eat all the chocolate you want!). Mark started Chocolate Savant to share his passion for chocolate and chocolate experiences with other chocolate lovers and to discover their favorite chocolate experiences.
